This is what our participants say about the Summer School
This summer school went above and beyond my expectations.
The program was well balanced and covered many different aspects of terminology.
All the presentations were interesting. There was no exception.
And I particularly enjoyed the future-oriented approach of this school and the opportunity to discuss the future of terminology and translation with colleagues from all over the world.
It was an extraordinary experience.
Gabriele, thank you very much for everything!

I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the preparation of the TSS. It was well organized. The content was very informative, I particularly enjoyed the visual illustrations, which made the content easily understandable.
I have already recommended this training to all my colleagues.
Furthermore, I drafted a report which I submitted to my superior, stating how important it is for the translators of our ministry to attend the TSS, to learn more about terminology.
We look forward to attend future trainings organized by you.

The TSS 2018 in Vienna was a highly professional breath of fresh air. Designed to meet the practical needs of so many enthusiastic people coming from various fields, the five-day training rekindled by passion for human communication and language usage. The high level of expertize provided by the trainers, combined with the inquisitive spirit of all trainees, resulted in an exceptionally inspiring event. TSS 2018 gave me a further boost in my profession. It reminded me that he who dares to teach must never cease to learn; it opened up my mind and showed me ways of building a bridge between terminology and lexicology for my future students. Thank you, TermNet, for reminding us that the art of communication is the language of leadership.

TSS 2018 took me on a journey through the theoretical as well as practical aspects of terminology, making me familiar with standards and guidelines, theory and practice, blogs, best practices, etc., which, despite my experience, I felt I really needed.
It was fantastic for me to sit in a room full of like-minded people; it gave me a sense of companionship and I actually came back with a network of my own for which I am very grateful!
After the TSS, I went back to my day-to-day, and my experience was that I am able to use a lot of the theory in practice in my daily work. In between TSS and my certification, something big happened to me: I became a trainee supervisor, which added extra need and motivation to consolidate what I had learned at the summer school in order to be able to pass it on to someone else.
TSS is something I would really recommend!

TermNet summer camp was what I wanted to join for a long time. As expected, the camp was fantastic, full of insights and many colleagues who shared ideas and thoughts, it was a truly fruitful event. The presentations and the last day event was also very interesting.

I would like to thank you for organising the Terminology Summer School 2018 so brilliantly.
I came back to the office bursting with energy and motivation. The presentations were extremely diverse and informative. More importantly, I could meet with wonderful people who share the same struggles. It felt good to realise that I am part of a community with a similar mindset and common objectives.
